Contraceptive Care
The 97th MDG Primary Care Clinic offers comprehensive contraceptive care in one convenient location. All TRICARE beneficiaries are welcome to receive education and services related to safe sexual practices, contraception, and STI prevention and treatment.
Vaccines are administered by appointment only, except for:
- Same-day primary care appointments
- Deployment requirements (walk-ins allowed; call ahead to confirm availability)
Clinic Details
Day/Time: Every Tuesday, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Location: Primary Care Clinic, 97th MDG, Altus AFB
Eligibility: Open to all TRICARE beneficiaries aged 16 and older.
No appointment is necessary! This is a first-come, first-serve clinic. Wait times may vary depending on demand.
Wait times for walk-ins associated with primary care visits may be 30-45 minutes.

Our walk-in clinic provides a range of contraceptive care, including:
- Contraceptive counseling – Find the best option for your needs.
- Patches
- Pills
- Implants (i.e.,Nexplanon)
- IUDs (Mirena, Kyleena, Paragard, Skyla)
- Emergency contraception
- Rings (Annovera, NuvaRing)
- Depo-Provera injections
- Condoms and spermicides
- Vasectomy preoperative evaluations

Simply walk in during clinic hours – no appointment needed.
Services are offered on a first-come, first-serviced basis.
Some situations may require scheduling a follow-up appointment to meet all your contraceptive needs.
Note: Emergency contraception can also be prescribed directly by the pharmacy.
